Swanage Pier is gearing up for a packed programme of Easter activities, with trails, crafts, games and family‑friendly events running from Saturday 28th March through Sunday 12 April. The Pier will host a mix of seasonal fun designed to entertain children and adults alike during the school holidays.
🐣 Easter Trail Brings Bunny-Themed Fun
The Pier’s Eggcellent Easter Trail returns for the full holiday period, inviting young explorers to hunt for the Easter Bunny and his friends hidden along the historic walkway. Children can collect an activity sheet from the gatehouse before setting off to decode a secret message using a special Easter Bunny message decoder.
The trail also includes an Easter Quiz, with participants jotting down answers as they make their way along the Pier. Completed sheets can be handed back at the gatehouse in exchange for a treat and entry into a prize draw for an Easter hamper.

⚓ Children’s History Walk Explores the Pier’s Past
On Wednesday 1st April at 10am, families can join a 45‑minute guided history walk uncovering the Pier’s colourful past. The tour explores stories of pirates, smugglers, shipwrecks and sunken treasure, offering an engaging introduction to Swanage’s maritime heritage.

🐰 Easter Bunny Crafts and Games
The Easter Bunny will make special appearances on Wednesday 1st April and Wednesday 8th April between 11am and 2pm. Children can drop in at any time to enjoy hands‑on Easter crafts and a selection of games, including Pin the Tail on the Bunny, Egg and Spoon Race, Knock the Eggs Down and Shoot and Score.

The sessions are designed to be relaxed and family‑friendly, offering a creative way to spend a spring day by the sea.
