About Swanage Pier Trust
Swanage Pier Trust is a long‑established heritage charity dedicated to preserving and enhancing one of Dorset’s most iconic coastal landmarks. Welcoming over 110,000 visitors each year, the Pier is currently undergoing a significant restoration project, marking an exciting phase in the charity’s development.
The Role
We are seeking a Fundraising Administration Assistant to support our growing fundraising activity and help secure vital income for the Pier’s ongoing conservation. This part‑time, office‑based role (25 hours per week) combines administrative support, donor engagement and relationship‑building. You will assist with fundraising campaigns, maintain accurate records, liaise with supporters and help ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day fundraising operations.
About You
You will be highly organised, motivated and comfortable working towards targets. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage confidently with individuals, groups and organisations. Experience in fundraising, sales or administration is required, and experience working with volunteers is desirable. You should enjoy working as part of a small, dedicated team and be passionate about heritage and community engagement.
