This half term, join us for a hauntingly fun seaside experience packed with Halloween surprises, family-friendly activities and plenty of spooky magic for all ages.

Halloween Trail 

Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November 

This half term, join us for a frightfully fun Halloween Trail that's perfect for the whole family.

Explore the Pier and keep your eyes peeled for spooky surprises hidden along the way. Match each spooky item on your trail sheet with its corresponding letter, solve the Halloween puzzle and take on our themed quiz as you go!

Once you've discovered all the eerie items and completed your quiz sheet, head to the Pier  Gatehouse to claim your treat and be entered into our prize draw for a chance to win some fang-tastic Halloween prizes!

🎃  Spooky Halloween Crafts and Games

Wednesday 28th October between 11am - 2pm

Unleash your creativity this October half term with our frightfully fun Halloween craft and game session!

Join us for a drop-in activity where you can create your own spooky masterpieces, just in time for the most haunted time of the year.

As well as getting creative, take part in our spooky Halloween games and challenges.

Led by our friendly team, this fun-filled session is perfect for children and families looking to get into the Halloween spirit.

No booking required. Simply drop in, get creative, play some games and take your spooky creations home with you!

🕒 Pop in anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm on Wednesday 28^th October.

No tricks, just treats and plenty of glue!

Swanage Pier Quiz Night 

Thursday 19th November 

Join us for a fun and friendly Quiz Night at the Royal British Legion on Thursday 19 November, in support of Swanage Pier. Hosted by Glen's Charity Events on behalf of the Swanage Pier Trust, the evening will feature a varied mix of quiz questions to suit all interests and levels of knowledge.

Whether you're a seasoned quiz enthusiast or simply looking for an enjoyable night out with friends, everyone is welcome. Gather a team or join one on the night.

Every pound raised will help support the ongoing maintenance and preservation of Swanage Pier, ensuring that this iconic local landmark can continue to be enjoyed by residents and visitors for generations to come.

We look forward to welcoming you for an entertaining evening of quizzing.

Park to Pier Walk

Saturday 29th November 

Meeting at Durlston, you will firstly have the opportunity to learn more about the country park, led by a Ranger. You will then be joined by a John Scott, Chairperson of the Dorset Geologists Association Group, for a guided walk from Durlston Castle to Swanage Pier learning about wildlife, geology and history of Durlston Country Park, the Pier and Swanage.

Adult - £5.00
Child - £3.00

Booking is not required, just turn up on the day at Durlston Castle Reception.

Make sure to dress for the weather, walking boots are recommended. The walk will include hills and some steps.

Lighting up Lives – ‘The Switch On’

Saturday 5th December from 5.30pm

Join us on Saturday 5th December from 5:30pm for the dazzling launch of Swanage Pier's Christmas illuminations! There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the evening, including live music from local favourites Kelp! and the Allsort'd Choir, as well as roaming seasonal characters bringing festive cheer to the Pier.

Step inside the Winter Wonderland Marquee, where festive magic comes to life. Don't miss the chance to snap a photo in Father Christmas's sleigh or our snowy mountain cable car, perfect for creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Treat yourself to something delicious from the 1859 Café & Bistro, whether it's a festive indulgence, a tasty BBQ delight or a warming festive drink.

 At 6:00pm, gather on the Pier for the highlight of the evening as our special guest makes a spectacular arrival before officially switching on the Christmas lights. Join the countdown and experience the magical moment as Swanage Pier is transformed into a breathtaking Christmas spectacle.
