Join a Ranger for a guided walk from Durlston Castle to Swanage Pier learning about wildlife, geology and history of Durlston Country Park and Swanage. Once you reach the Pier, you will have the opportunity for a history talk led by a Pier Volunteer.
Adult - £7.00
Child - £3.00 
Booking is not required, just turn up on the day at Durlston Castle Reception.
Make sure to dress for the weather, walking boots are recommended. The walk will include hills and some steps.

The Easter Bunny and his friends are hiding all over Swanage Pier. Can you track them down, uncover the message they’ve left behind and crack our Easter Quiz to earn your reward…
So, here’s what you need to do…
Pick up your activity sheet from the Pier gatehouse and as you make your way along the Pier your first mission begins: track down the Easter Bunny’s friends! Once you’ve found them, use our special Easter Bunny message decoder to crack the secret Easter message waiting to be discovered.
Your second mission is to tackle the Easter Quiz and jot your answers down on your activity sheet.
Once you’ve completed everything, our mini egg explorers can hand in their sheets at the Pier gatehouse to claim a treat and be entered into the draw to win our egg‑cellent Easter hamper.

Children's History Walk
Wednesday 1st April - 10am 
Swanage Pier has a rich and fascinating history, and it has always played an important role in the life of the town.
Join us for a 45‑minute guided walk along the Pier, following in the footsteps of past generations as we uncover stories of pirates, smugglers, sunken treasure and shipwrecks.
Suitable for accompanied children aged 5 and over.
Standard adult admission to the Pier applies.
Easter‑Inspired Fun with the Easter Bunny
Wednesday 1st and Wednesday 8th April - 11am - 2pm
Get ready for an eggs‑traordinary Easter at Swanage Pier!
Join us for a fun‑filled day where you can meet the Easter Bunny and take part in a range of egg‑citing Easter‑themed crafts and games.
Enjoy hands‑on Easter crafts and test your skills with our family‑friendly games, including Pin the Tail on the Bunny, Egg and Spoon Race, Knock the Eggs Down, and Shoot and Score — perfect for all ages.
Drop in anytime between 11am and 2pm on Wednesday 1st and Wednesday 8th April for a day packed with Easter activities.

Meeting at Durlston, you will first have the opportunity to learn more about the country park, led by a Ranger. You will then be joined by John Scott, Chairperson of the Dorset Geologists Association Group, for a stroll down to the Pier, discovering the history,
wildlife, and geology of the bay along the way.

Summer Yoga Classes on Swanage Pier
Starting from week commencing the 2nd June
Yoga on the Pier returns this summer for its eighth year. These sessions offer a joyful start to the day, a chance to connect with the Swanage community, and an opportunity to support the
Swanage Pier Trust.
Haṭha yoga includes asanas (postures), mudras and pranayama (breath control), helping to bring balance to the body, mind and nervous system. Even a few minutes of regular practice can support strength, stability, flexibility and a calmer mind.
All‑levels Guided Class
Tuesday mornings: 8.00am–9.00am
Pop‑up Saturday evenings: 5.15pm–6.15pm
A gentle guided flow suitable for all levels, including simple breathing techniques, standing and seated postures, and a guided relaxation. Each week focuses on a different element of practice to help deepen awareness of mind, body and breath. Variations are offered so everyone can move comfortably and safely.
All levels and abilities are welcome
Intermediate Guided Class
Thursday mornings: 8.00am–9.00am
A more dynamic session with opportunities to explore stronger postures, breath awareness and movement practices, with an emphasis on building strength and stability. Includes a guided relaxation.
Suitable for those with a regular yoga practice seeking a more challenging class. Not suitable for beginners.
