November 2019

The Poppy on the Pier is back for 2019

Thursday 31st October - Monday 11th November

In support of remembrance, Swanage Pier Trust is installing a large Poppy on the Pier. To complete the installation we require your help, we would like members of the public to come along and tie a piece of red fabric or ribbon onto the installation, as a sign of remembering the fallen.

Last year Poppy on the Pier raised over £750 for the Royal British Legion.

The Pier has received a quantity of donated fabric for this purpose. You are also welcome to bring your own along to truly personalise the Poppy. Any donations of red fabric ribbon and black nylon to the Pier would be most welcome.
