Customer Service Apprentice  

We are delighted to be working with Weymouth College to recruit a Customer Service Apprentice.

Swanage Pier Trust aims to preserve and maintain the grade II listed Pier at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, for the benefit of visitors and the local community. The development of education and recreational facilities are key elements in helping to ensure the Victorian structure continues to attract a wide range of visitors for generations to come.

This is a unique apprenticeship opportunity to work for an organisation which is both a business and a charity.

As a customer facing business, in the first year, the role will focus on all aspects of customer service. The apprentice will learn about the organisation, it’s values, policies and procedures and have regular ‘hands-on’ opportunities to engage with customers in a range of areas such as retail, fundraising, events, community radio, gate and boat operations.   

On successful completion of the Customer Service Apprenticeship, the apprentice will be given the opportunity to progress onto the Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship where they will continue to learn and develop key business skills while helping to support different departments within the organisation.
