Swanage Pier is open daily all year round (except Christmas Day). The shop and cafe operate seasonal hours.

Winter
October - March
Swanage Pier is normally open daily from 9am to 4pm, or some days at 3pm during December, January and February.
Winter opening hours of 9am - 4pm apply every day over the festive period except:
Christmas Eve: 10am - 2pm
Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: 10am - 2pm
New Year’s Eve: 10am - 2pm
New Year’s Day: 10am - 2pm
Summer
April – September
During the summer months Swanage Pier is normally open from 9am-5pm weekdays and 7am to 5pm at the weekend.
On a summer's evening, one of the finest views in Swanage is the sunset over the Purbeck Hills so we try to open later in the evenings, to allow people to stroll down and enjoy the amazing sunsets. If you would like to help on the gate please see our volunteering page.
Parking
Parking spaces on the pier are limited and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Reservations are not accepted and spaces tend to fill up quickly, particularly in the summer months, so we advise early arrival.
We charge a daily parking fee which varies depending on the season. Your entry and parking fees help to contribute to the on-going restoration work on Swanage Pier.

Overnight parking is not permitted. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Alternative Pay & Display parking is available in Broad Road, on the hill behind the pier.
