The trail was developed in 2022 as a collaboration between year 10 students from The Swanage School and Burngate Stone Carving Centre.
There are nine different points on the trail, positioned along the pier on the left and right hand sides.
You can purchase a rubbings pack from the gate house for a small fee which includes paper and crayons, or bri
ng your own!
When you get to a stone plaque:
- Place a piece of paper over it
- Use a crayon to rub over the paper
- An image will appear – like magic!
